5S Implementation

 Today i would like to share about 5S,

What the Definition of 5S?

Ways (methods) to organize / manage the workplace to become a better workplace in a sustainable manner. The implementation of 5S aims to improve efficiency and quality in the workplace.


Each company have different name but the Intension is same.

Please check in the below :


Objective of 5S Impelementation :

1. To create a comfortable workplace and an attractive job

2. To train employees to independently organize their work

3. To enforce discipline using standards

4. To Create "Visual Factory"

5. Create a positive image for the customer's view

Benefits of 5S Impelementation :

1. Increases productivity due to more efficient workplace arrangements.

2. Increase comfort because the workplace is always clean and becomes spacious / roomy.

3. Reducing hazards in the workplace due to good quality workplaces.

4. Increase savings by eliminating various wastes in the workplace

Now, i will explain 1 by 1 of the 5S.

1. Short

“Distinguish between what is needed and what is not needed and discard what is not needed. The principle of Short is to use stratification and deal with causes of problems”

Slogan 

“REMOVE UNNECESSARY ITEMS FROM OUR WORKPLACE"

2. Set In Order

“Determine a neat layout so that we always find the items we need. The principle of Set in Order is functional storage and eliminating time searching for Goods”

Slogan 

“EVERY GOODS THAT ARE IN THE WORKPLACE HAS A SURE PLACE"


3. Shine

“ Eliminate dirt and foreign debris for a cleaner workplace”

Slogan

“CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S ON THE WORKPLACE, CLEANING MEANS CHECKING"

4. Standardize

“ Maintain goods orderly, neatly, cleanly and in a personal aspect as well as in relation to pollution”

Slogan

“ EVERYONE OBTAINED THE INFORMATION THAT NEEDS AT THE WORKPLACE ON TIME"

5. Sustain

“ Doing the right thing as a habit”

Slogan

“ DO WHAT MUST BE DONE AND DONT DO WHAT YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO DO"

We have additional for 6th S, 

6. Safety

“keeping yourself and others free from harm or hazard”

Causes of Accident occured is :


 
Example of Unsafe Condition :

1. Floor Slippery
2. Cable is messy
3. Confined Space
4. Fire Extinguisher expired, pressure & poor condition 
5. A lot of Dust in the Machine
6. Cable insulation is damaged
7. Workplace is noisy
8. Gas tube without holder
9. Using cable extension

Example of Unsafe Action :

1. Operating Generator without PPE ( Ear Plug/Ear Muff )
2. Working without safety shoes
3. Welding without PPE ( Weld Mask, GLoves etc )
4. Work at Height without PPE
5. Operating Forklift with high speed
6. Filling chemical without PPE ( Respirator, Glove etc )
7. Wearing sandal at Factory

  Saat ini saya akan berbagi bagaimana belajar Arduino, pada materi sebelumnya saya sudah pernah membagikan materi terkait Arduino untuk ESP8266 dengan DHT 11 dan Blynk. Saat ini saya akan membagikan bagaimana kita akan belajar membuat program Arduino Uno dengan LCD I2C tanpa membeli hardware.  Yang dibutuhkan : 1. Komputer/Laptop 2.
